Possible Servers

Since this is a reroll project, I wish for our community to try to come to a decision about what realm to roll onto.

Things to Consider:

It must not be one sided on the horde side, we do not wish to never have Wintergrasp constantly or to have the cities pretty much camped by them,

We do not wish it to be one sided on the Alliance side albeit it would mean easier keeping of Wintergrasp, but we would prefer it to be at least balanced.

It can be a PVP realm or a PVE Realm

It is not to be an RP realm that is not what we are interested in.

The Language needs to be mostly English, we do not wish to roll onto a realm where the native language is say for example Russian, as it causes alot of problems in the long run.

So if you have a server to suggest then by all means, leave a post.

It's just an example though. I'd like a realm which is quite highly populated pvp one and is from a not broken battlegroup so we can enjoy battlegrounds when we hit 80. And I will be for any server that meets these conditions. (I don't know exactly what battelgroups are good for allies, so if you assure me there will be short queues on the server I will happily roll there )
And please not Auchindoun... I play there and while the server itself is OK (as for horde at least) Vindication battelgroup is one big fail.

Bloodscalp is terrible on the Horde (my priest is there) and from what i experienced it defiantly isn't a primarily English server (at least on the horde)

Well since we'r trying to search a "good" alliance server.
I'd make my bet on Aggramar 17kA to 6kH players (overall 23k) but It would be full all the time.
Another one would be Ghostlands 10,028A (54%) 8,500H (46%) 2.5 : 1 having an overall of 18,528

Note: I have no experience on any of these two realms in any way. Just been checking warcraftrealms.com.

This server is low populated and is very even when it comes to alliance/horde. I haven´t played on this server myself but i had some ingame friends before who transfered to it from Stormscale and they liked it, atleast i haven´t heard anything else. They dont play there anymore so i don´t know if anything have changed but i think it would be a pretty good candidate for a reroll server.

Purely from a faction balance standpoint:

Draenor: 47% alliance, 53% horde
Ulduar: 58% alliance, 42% horde
Ghostlands: 54% alliance, 46% horde
Nordrassil: Apparently a near-perfect 50-50
Killrogg: 48/52
Darksorrow: 47/53*
Deathwing: 47/53*
Auchindoun: 56/44
Genjuros: 56/44*
Darkspear: 42/58
Xavius: 53/47*
Slyvanas: 49/51*
The Maelstrom: 46/54*

The *s indicate PvP realms, and the further you go down the list, the more inaccurate it is, because warcraftrealms.com didn't have as much information.

Also, if we want never to meet the horde, Silvermoon's a good option: 94% alliance

I'd like to vote for Darkspear, have some m8's their on the alliance, they say it's very decent with a good economy and everything.

Auchindoun, is a pvp realm it's where my druid is located and i wouldn't really recommend that realm or any in that battle group.

I think Darkspear, no specific reason.

I'd like to give it to deathwing for a strange reason :p but since we're intended to be more of a cataclysm guild why not deathwing is the main bad-guy or cataclysm.

Having played on the same small server all my life, Sunstrider, i dont have much to contribute. It was a nice place to play but i dont think its what were looking for. Big or small, pve or pvp i dont mind aslong as we dont have to que to get in.

I have to agree with the quote, we cannot have it on a full server as you can encounter problems with peoples PC's/net connection giving up in high lag areas and on the flip side we do not want a server that is to light, population wise, as we will not have a good enough econemy.

I have played on a few servers including Darkspear and I would say that Darkspear is a good choice.
